Geregeld zie je prachtige foto's in de krant. Bij ons hangt er een aantal in de gang, bijvoorbeeld die van Freddy Rikken (10 nov. '04 op mijn blog)
Deze foto van Alexi Fyodorov vond ik weer terug bij mijn schaakfoto's. Een fantastische foto. Hij verscheen in 1996 in het NRC Handelsblad in zwart-wit. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik via The Associated Press het origineel in kleur met tekst:
